Department of Science and TechnologyCentral2016-20171351082Amount if sanctioned to carry out project tilted "Transformative Crystallline Hybrid Porous Materils: Chemical Synthesis and Applications" to Dr. Suresh Babu. This project deals with one of the repidly developing areas of materials chemistry, i.e. metal-organic hybrid frameworks. The ultimate goal of this work is to design and develop MOFs that are functional for proactical applications with minimum limitations.

DST SERBCentral2017-2018500000Various quantum features have been considered as being responsible for the speedup of quantum computers, among them, quantum correlations and the indistinguishability among distinct quantum states. The current work explores the possible role of contextuality and continuity for the speed of information processing. The resulting model would be applied to Shors, Grover and Deutsch Jozsa in the corresponding generalized probability theory, preferably the operational probabilistic theory framework.
