BASTAR SAMAJIK JAN VIKAS SAMITI is a voluntary organization registered under Chhattisgarh Society Registration Act, 1973, on 30th May 2003 in the State of Chhattisgarh. The Executive Committee members as well educated citizens of India and are directly or indirectly involved with the development works of our society. This organization has been constantly been making efforts since its inception for the overall development of the people belonging to the weaker section of our society living in rural,urban,slums in different parts of Bastar and Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh State. BASTAR SAMAJIK JAN VIKAS SAMITI has conducted several programs with the help of donations received from various members and other donors. The following programs were organized. This year the Organization emphasized on implementing programs in the direction of generating awareness on various social issues among the rural people and also organizing programs in cultivating interest towards art and culture among children and young people. 1 ANIMAL WELFARE PROGRAMS 2 PROMOTION OF SHG’S 3 ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMS 4 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR WOMEN EMPOWERMENT 5 VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS 6 ADULT LITERACY PROGRAMS 7 AGRICULTURE & HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS 8 SPORTS & CULTURAL PROMOTION ACTIVITIES 9 SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS 10 WORK PROGRESSING IN DEVELOPMENT FOCUS 11 FIGHT AGAINST HIV-AIDS 12 SARVA SIKHYA ABHIYAN Therefore we have wide network and experiential man power with pragmatic, dynamic and goal oriented field workers working above mention field.

Each centre caters 25 children both boys and girls. Four teachers and four maids are appointed, who looks after them. Some nutritive supplement and some basic literacy skills were provided.
