    Greetings from PSSCIVE!



    It is a pleasure to apprise you about PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), which is a constituent unit of NCERT, established in 1993. It is a UNEVOC Network Centre (International Project on Technical and Vocational Education) in India. Being the only apex research and development Institute in the field of Vocational Education and Training in the country, the Institute is known for its commitment to excellence in vocational education.



    The Institute has been actively engaged in developing Vocational textbooks as per job roles in different sectors introduced in the schools from Classes IX to XII under the ‘Samagra Shiksha’ project of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. Every year, the Institute conducts a series of Training/Orientation Programmes on Vocational Education and Training for the State Key Officials, Principals and Vocational Teachers and orient/train the officials in running and implementing the vocational education in the states/UTs. The Institute has fully developed Vocational Labs in the Institute namely – Retail, Agriculture, Banking, Apparel, Food Processing, Health and Automobile. Further, in the campus, the Institute has its own Guest House, Auditorium (capacity of 300) and Hostel building, which fulfils the day-to-day activities.



    Further, it is a pleasure for us to inform you that the Ministry of Education, Government of India has given the status of Deemed University to NCERT and soon the courses like B.Voc. and M.Voc. will be launched at PSSCIVE.

    In line with our dedication to advancing vocational education globally and as per directives from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, we are proposing to establish Centre of Excellence to benchmark PSSCIVE as International Standard in Vocational Education and Training. This proposed center aims to create a collaborative platform for sharing best practices, developing innovative curriculum models, and fostering international partnerships in the realm of vocational education. The PSSCIVE will serve as a hub for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and the development of globally relevant vocational training programs. We envision this center as a catalyst for nurturing a skilled workforce that meets the demands of a rapidly evolving global economy.



    Recognizing the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we are seeking financial support under CSR initiatives to establish PSSCIVE. Your organization's contribution will not only help in realizing this visionary project but also contribute significantly to the advancement of vocational education on an international scale.



    In this regard, as per your acceptance/confirmation, we will discuss the detailed proposal through online\Offline mode. Your support will not only impact the lives of individuals seeking quality vocational education in our country but also contribute to the socio-economic development of the communities we serve.
