An NGO (non-governmental organisation) is a non-profit organisation that operates and functions independently from the government. 3. Community based NGO
As the name suggests, such NGOs arise out of people’s own initiatives. Examples of such NGOs are seen in the form of sports clubs, women’s organisations, religious or educational programs, neighbourhood organisations, and many more. Some of the community based NGOs are also supported by national or international NGOs and some of them function independently, all by themselves.
4. Citywide NGOs
Citywide non governmental organisations are mostly involved in helping the poor as of their major form of activities. These organisations include the commonly seen Rotary or Lion’s Club, popular chambers of commerce and industry, ethnic or educational groups, associations of community organisations, coalitions of businesses, etc.
5. Empowering NGOs
The main aim of these non governmental organisations is to give poor people a fair understanding of all the social, economic and political factors that may affect their lives. Such NGOs also aim to strengthen poor people’s awareness of their own power to control their lives.

Sub: Regarding the treatment and seeking help for bring a medicine to my son with a RARE ILLNESS
Respected Sir,
My son Navaneeth Krishna is 4 1/2 years old. Since his birth he is having many difficulties, one of the main problem he is having high fever frequently. As part of the treatment he was admitted to Ernakulam Medical Center (EMC) Palarivattom,and was undergone many medical and clinical tests which was advised.Thereafter as advised by the EMC doctors , child was shifted to Amritha Hospital (AIMS) Edappally. There also many medical and clinical tests were conducted. All this time he was having a high fever which was not in control.
At this panic situation, the team of doctors advised to consult with CMC Vellore, Tamilnadu.There also the doctors repeated all three tests and more, but the real diagnosis was not found, even more medicines were prescribed.After returning home from CMC Vellore, we consulted with homeo doctors and then after ayurvedic treatment. All this time our child was getting very weak due to the same fever which was not diagnosed by any doctors or medicine.
On 26/6/2021 Dr. P N Pisharody (District early intervention center, General hospital, Ernakulam) had a thorough check and he advised to contact Dr. Suma Balan( Pediatric Rheumatologist - Amritha Hospital). After many diagnosis and tests it is found that our child is having NOMID (NEONATAL ONSET MULTISYSTEM INFLAMMATORY DECEASE)
For the treatment it's advised to take an injection known as ANAKINRA for 5 years. The said medicine is neither marketed nor produced in india.But we can import the medicine from the producing country[america, sweden etc....]
For my child's health the only way to get a cure is taking the medicine.The dosage has been finalized by the doctor. The said medicine has to be imported from a producing country. The value of the medicine is around 1.6 lakh per month..
We have spent all our earnings for the treatment of my child, we are really struggling very hard to overcome the financial situation.
We humbly request you and good hearts to do the needful for the child. It's sure that the help from people like you and society will only be able to overcome our situation.
Please help my child to overcome, and help him to come back to life as a normal child in society.
