Improved Oven for MDM Cooking in Schools Shakti has implemented the Thermal efficient Smoke less Improved Oven(Parishad Chulaha) in Schools having Mid-Day Meal pogramme, with financial support from Odisha Govt.(DRDA-OREDA). 84 nos. Improved oven have been installed in 42 Schools during 2016-17 in Kolanara Block of Rayagada Dist. It helped the school students having a clean environment in school, hazardous free cooking, less consumption of fire wood and less consumption of time for cooking. |

They were served with free lodging, food, regular check up by ANM, counseling and assistance till their delivery. 231 Pregnant women from remote villages availed services of our Maternity Waiting Home and had safe delivery during 2016-17. |
