NOKIA SAVE THE CHILDREN Overseas 2014-2015 1496380 Disaster Preparedness: True to its aims of empowerment, ACTION seeks to develop community preparedness for disasters, avoiding reliance on government and military relief efforts. Currently in its third phase with save the children with the association has constructed a sophisticated disaster response program. Pre, during and Post training has been taught to village Task Forces, who disperse the message throughout the community.
MAATHOTA Central 2014-2015 1599700 In this Maa Thota villages like PathaKunkala, Kothakunkala, Koyanagampalem, Bakkabandarugudem, Jillellagudem, Garlagoyye, Manugopula, Saripallikunta and Sunnalagandi meetings were held with VDC’s and farmers. Farmers were informed how to provide water facilities to plants and advised them to water the plants twice a week. 50 kgs of Vermi compost was given to the farmers to use in 150 A/ of land. The farmers were asked to make compost pits and fill them with vermin compost.

In the beginning some of the children wanted to carry the egg to home and consume it in the night but coordinator clearly instructed not to take the Egg to home consume it there in the school as the Eggs are boiled and if they consume in the night, the egg may be spoiled. Even quantity of milk (1150M.L) for each child is perfectly measured.
